Pros:- Sharp and wide blade slices through thick beard hair with ease- Solid build feels like it will last a lifetime- Honestly not that loud considering the high RPMs and torque- Reasonably pricedCons (minor):- The attachment combs aren't the best and tend to cause the hair to get trapped in between the blade and comb causing painful and annoying hair tugs. I haven't had this issue with trimming head hair but happens with a coarse beard.- Heavy, not a big deal at home but I wouldn't travel with this- Cord on the GTX is really thick. I guess worth it for the 3 prongs since I use it near a sink but if you want a bit more maneuverability or lighter weight I'd go with the classic T-Outliner.Tips:- Take it easy with pressure as the blade is crazy sharp. used to push against the skin with some other battery-powered trimmers with slightly rounded blade tips and that's not necessary with this trimmer at all.- Don't forget to clean it out well with a brush / compressed air and oil regularly since the internals aren't entirely sealed offThis brand is a great trimmer. It feels very solid and durable, and it is very reasonably priced. My father gets his hair cut at home, and this trimmer makes the process a lot quicker and smootherI has been using it most of life I think this is my 6 or 7 ones awesome product and I recommend it to everyoneEasy to work and hold.Trimmer is great! It’s made well!?Nice and easy to useVery easy to usethese are perfect for people who want to trim a great line, or for me personally, to keep my head shaved. i don't want the muss and fuss of actually wet shaving my head and these trimmers will keep my hair cut low enough that it appears that i do. this brand is a great trimmer. cutting my hair every few days for the last 20 years this is only my my third set. they are long lasting and very durable. highly recommend this trimmer for multiple uses.I have now owned 5 of these over the last 6 yrs and had to replace each one every 15 months or so after weekly use. I have mixed feels about this product as it does a great job giving me a close head shave… (unfortunately I haven’t come across another unit that cuts well. With that being said, if anyone knows of a better close shaving clipper, please reply thx. I now need to replace the one I have now making it #6, it failed just like the comment I’ve been hearing where the blade stopped moving or blade is moving but not cutting. I’m tired of this and it gets rather frustrating specially when you need it to work when you must go somewhere. Like others have mentioned it’s great when it works and hurts when it doesn’t especially when it stops in the middle of your shave and you can’t get it going again. As for the heating problem, “Yes” it does have a heating problem and I only hoped that this would have been resolved over the years. To make a long story short it gets the job done and will cost you more over time. After owning so many of these units your wondering WHY I’m just written this now? I’m not impressed with the unit and wanted to bring awareness to any future customer(s) that is thinking about purchasing this unit as it has many problems and a short life span. When I pay this much for a new trimmer I expect it to be clean, fresh out of the factory and not filled with hair from a last trim... This is disgusting and frankly a lack of professionalism from the brand.GUARD OVER THE BLADE BROKE OFF IN THE CORNER WHILE I WAS SHAVING MY HEAD. BLED ALL OVER THE PLACE AND WILL HAVE A SCAR FOR LIFE. NOT IMPRESSED CONSIDERING HOW LITTLE I HAVE USED IT. I SERIOUSLY DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW A PIECE OF METAL EXPECTED TO BE THERE FOR SAFETY JUST CHIPS OFF LIKE SO.....THIS DEVICE HAS NEVER BEEN DROPPED AND BARELY USED.I switched the Andis Pro T-Outliner Trimmer (sold by Vital Beauty via Amazon) on and then off after a few seconds, as the vibration was too loud, and then saw the blade had broken off. Luckily it didn't fly into anyone's face. I'm using a step down converter (230-110v | 100W), but I don't see a power adjuster screw on the trimmer that would help with the vibration.I'll investigate. If it's a simple resolution and good outcome, I'll update my review. My initial investigation suggests the vibration is a known problem and the fix isn't simple.Firstly why has nobody mentioned the loudness of this thing? It's not massive but my ears were bleeding within a second of turning it on. Secondly and most importantly the main reason why i sent this product back is the heat!! It got so hot I couldn't even hold the shaver and within a minute smoke was pouring out of it!!If you've got asbestos hands and a good quality pair of headphones then this product is for you.....other wise STAY AWAY!!worst shaver ever!!!!!
