Great blade. You can find a cheaper, general purpose blade but I suspect this blade will outlive those alternatives. I’ve cut steel, PVC, wood with ease. Steel (angle, box, tube) items need to be secured well within the saw using the clamping mechanism; cant just hold piece with your hand and cut. This blade saves me time by eliminating blade change outs when switching materials.Goes without saying do not cut anything hardend. I made that mistake and instantly ruined my blade. So here I am writing a review on a new blade. Soft metals cut fine just don't be an idiot like me.made hundreds of cuts in 3/8 steel.IncredibleI’m mainly writing this to point out something that people aren’t realizing when they buy this blade. This blade is meant for saws that run at low rpms. You cannot use it on high rpm chop saws. If your saw uses an abrasive disc you cannot use this blade on it. It’s a great blade that works well on my low rpm chop saw. Some reviews seem to be attempting to put this blade on high rpm saws and are getting bad results. Know the speed of your saw before buying this blade.My original blade on my Evolution saw lasted a long time. I cut a lot of steel with it so I knew I couldn’t go wrong with replacing it with another one.This blade was on my saw when I purchased it, I cut a lot of 3/16-1/4 inch angle, square and flat bar material. After a year or so the blade gave out and I replaced it with another name brand blade, I didn't get 3 cuts with it and I retired it to the work bench. I purchased this blade again and have started on my second project. It seems to me that the higher tooth counts do not last as long. I would recommend this blade as I now keep a spare just in case.I have been using Evolution Multi Blade for several years. I believe it is the blade that came on my saw initially and has worked well for me. I have cut up to 4" x 4" x 3/8" angle iron normally 2x2x1/4 steel and aluminum angle material. The blades will outlast abrasive blades by at least 10+ times. This particular blade is normally one of the least expensive and it works great so I have stuck with it.Wow, my saw is cutting again like new!
