The product came very well packaged and not bent. I have read previous reviews stating that the product appears cheap. I did not think so. This product is made from a very sturdy plastic with a material lining to protect the knife from scratching. It is important to note that one side of the case is completely open so that you could slide it in. I purchased this for a 10 inch carving roast knife and it was a perfect fit. I would definitely consider purchasing this again.
