This replaced a cheap board that came with a cabinet. This is a very well made board with recessed wires so you don't get many bounce outs. Repairs itself well and holes disappear. Highly recommend this board!Product was exactly what I wanted and expected! Supplier was awesome and easy to work with, it was delivered sooner than expected! Excellent service!I love everything about this dartboard but there is one tiny flaw is that the metal divider system the actual metal blades started to come forward on my dartboard so every once in awhile I have to double-check it and tap them back down not sure why they're pushing out of the dartboard but it's no big deal for me to TAP them back down it for the most part days put and they only come out a little bit other than that everything works great I've had this dartboard since June of 2020 so it's been almost 2 years you can take a look at my photos to see the condition of my dartboard I do keep it inside a wood cabinet although it is played outside but during rainy season it's taken off of its mount and brought where it's not going to get wet this dart board is used for nearly everyday during the summer time for multiple hours per day me and my family are hardcore Dart players I would not call us anywhere near professional but we play a lot and I myself can hit the bullseye when I need to and on occasion I can pull off 180s by getting the triple 20 3 times I took the leveling mounting system off of it because I mounted it into my cabinet the mounting was really easy although I do need a new cabinet hey you'll notice my calendar is pretty roughed up in the pictures overall I would buy this dartboard again and heartbeat also now there's a new model so if I ever need to replace mine I'll just get the new model the blade 6 triple coreOne of the best dart boards I have played on. If you are debating this versus anything else, do yourself a favor and buy this one.We bought this board exactly a year ago to replace our old Unicorn board that we bought in Germany back in the 80s. This board has held up quite well, but in the past month we were getting a lot of bounce outs from any dart thrown inside the triple ring. If we try to push a dart into this area, it seems that it only goes in about 1/8 to 1/4 inch before it feels like you're trying to press it through a piece of wood.According to our dart scoring system that keeps our stats, we've thrown over 198,000 darts at the board during games. If we include warm-ups and training, that number is probably well over 200K.We have the board mounted out in our garage, so the dry desert heat may be contributing to the problem. However, we haven't seen any of the problems with the board falling apart like many of the 1 star reviews report.Reading other reviewer's comments about how great their previous boards were (Shot Bandit, Gladiator, etc), we checked out some of them, but those boards have 1 star reviews complaining about the same thing that the 1 star reviews for this board have. They complain about paying $79.99 for the board, but for us, that worked out to about .03 cents a game--seems like a reasonable cost for us. I guess you can't please all of the people all of the time. We're satisfied enough with this board that we're buying another to replace the current one.Likes:Mounting system -- keeps the board firmly in the cabinet and makes it easy to rotate on a regular basis.Thin/Razor wires -- few if any bounce-outs from hitting wires. They're starting to show some nicks, but those haven't affected play.Board Colors - Although most newer boards seem to have brighter/more vibrant coloring, this one was much easier on the eyes than our old Unicorn.Dislikes - none really. The only thing that would make this a perfect board would be to have a powerful rare earth magnet behind the trip 20 to suck my darts into there instead of the trip 1 :)The mounting system is fantastic. It's great having a board constantly hugging the wall tightly. You can't do this with other boards. My 2 photos are of a Blade 5 with one year of daily (2 hours/day average) play from a semi serious player (60-65 avg). I might have a bounce out 1/500 times. I throw 24g darts. I realize the pics show wear, but I've thrown sooo many darts at it. It's still going strong. I get sick when I see the bad reviews. Still, they are the miniscule amongst the multitude of great ones. Winmau makes the best dart board. If you're already looking at sisal boards, you want something good. Might as well get the best. This is the best board on the market, period. I have had my blade 5 dual core for almost 2 years and it still plays like a brand new board. Ordered it in December 2018. I throw hundreds of darts in my board daily. Mostly playing 501,301. The mounting system is very easy to install, and the stabilizers make sure your board doesn't move at all. Turning your board so your not playing in the same spot is key to longevity and this board makes that very easy. Just pop the number ring off and loosen the stabilizers and turn your board 3 or 4 sections. Then, tighten the stabilizers back down and pop the number ring back on. I turn my board once every 2 weeks or so. This will allow the sisal to "heal" and over all improve the longevity of your board.Shipping was great, everything was packaged well and secure in the box.Don't expect your dart board to be perfect out of the box, there will always be slight impuritys on the board itself, small dents in the sisal or small line bumps where the sisal pucks come together. ALL DART BOARDS ARE LIKE THIS. look up how a sisal dartboard is made and you'll understand what I'm talking about. NOW WITH THAT BEING SAID... If there are a ton of big dents and sisal missing or dented in on your doubles, triples, outer bull and inner bull, I would send it back for a replacement. You never know what happens to your package while in transit. If it was roughly handle during shipping it might have some defects and will need to be sent back. The first board I ordered was great. And is still on the wall today.Once again, BEST BOARD ON THE MARKET.I'm not a professional, just play a few games everyday here and there. But so far the durability is fantastic.Holes aren't big when removed and the darts stick 99.9% of the time (an occasional bounce out happens, but it's usually from hitting another dart)Mounting was super easy too. Even the most basic "handy man" will be able to put this up.Overall it's a great product that has given me lots of fun and quality time with friends and family.Ps. Don't let other reviews deter you. Most are likely from arm chair athletes who think theyre pros and judging WAY to harshly. You're not going to regret the purchase of this board.I guar-annn-teeeee.I replaced a 15 year old dartboard with the Winmau Blade 5, so it was pretty easy to give this 5 stars. Even without the comparison this is 5 stars. In fact I wish I could give it more stars.Everything about this board is amazing. The super thin wire is almost invisible. Not only have we played for hours without a bounce out, we've hardly wired any shots. We even created a new game called "Who can touch the wire with their throw." Couldn't do it.The thin wire makes double and triple sections look bigger. The colours are vibrant and perfectly set on the board. The 3 screw-in feet on the back wedge the board to the cabinet wall tightly so there is no spinning or shifting. It did take a bit of time to set each screw perfectly so that the board was evenly flush against the wall.I've added some pictures with split shots of my previous board and this one. Please don't make fun of me for having the oldest, crummiest board in the world, but you can see why I'm so happy with my new Winmau. If you are looking to upgrade, do yourself a favour and buy this now!Was soll man sagen, Winmau Scheiben sind einfach gut. Was setting up my games room and added this dartboard. I knew the one that came with the cabinet would not be satisfactory. This board does not disappoint. It heals exceptionally well and there are almost zero bounce outs. It feels like the dart hist something very solid and yet soft enough to allow penetration. I have never been so happy with a dartboard purchase. This purchase being my 7th for various reasons over the years. I highly recommend this board for a games room, bar or tournament. I love it.I own a Blade 4 for a few years then this Blade 5 Dual Core and don't get me wrong, it's a really really really good dartboard but I don't see any difference with a regular board which is not Dual Core. I don't think the more expensive price for a Dual Core is really needed. My next dartboard will not be a Dual Core unless this Dual Core will last me 20 years which I highly doubt.
